About Us

Our Story

Before there were homes, there were forests and riverbanks.

Wood grew slowly — counting time in its rings, bending toward light, carrying seasons within itself for years before a hand ever shaped it. Each line, each grain, holds a record of time that cannot be rushed.

Clay lived differently. It rested. It held the memory of water, of pressure, of stillness. When fired, it did not simply harden — it became something that would outlast the hands that formed it.

Kath N Clay exists where these two meet.

The Making

Every piece begins quietly — not as a product, but as material waiting to take form.

Wood that has lived through seasons. Clay that has rested in stillness.

The process is not rushed. It unfolds slowly, guided by hand and by the nature of what is being shaped. Pressure, movement, and time come together to create forms that feel both natural and intentional.

There is no attempt to make each piece identical. Variations in surface, tone, and texture are left untouched — a reminder that what you hold has been made, not manufactured.

What emerges is simple, but considered.

An object shaped not just to exist, but to be used, returned to, and lived with.
